1 These documents are undated but have been dated from the known dates for the completion of some of these projects. Much was completed for the visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in 1939. The first page is T.B. McQuesten's work on Mather Park at Fort Erie, at the entrance to the Peace Bridge. The second page is a list of expenditures for the restoration of Fort George, (two items) Oakes Garden Theatre, Gardener's School, Mackenzie Building (house), Fort Erie Restoration. It is well documented that T.B. McQuesten was responsible for all of these projects during his tenure. See also W-MCP7-1.154: "The Work of the Niagara Parks Commission," which we have estimated as Dec. 31, 1943.
